Sukh Ryatt

Lead Guitar, April 2001 - October 2004

No sooner than he learnt the set (Sukh was a sloooow learner) he's emigrated to the States. Is it something we said?

From the point Sukh replaced Richard Borsey in April 2001 the group reworked a large part of its set list to feature Sukh's Satriani influenced lead guitar style.

His Chrome Boy took centre stage on many a Friday evening at the Royal Oak, and on occasions he actually played the guitar as well.

In late 2003 it became apparent that the stress of keeping time with the BB's and their tribute to Hertzberg's Uncertainty Principal was telling on Sukh and in a lucid moment he agreed to join his brother in law in a business venue in Orlando.

However the US Immigration Services were more than a little unprepared for Sukh's arrival so much so that they kept his application on hold for a massive 11 months while they recovered from their first encounter. Eventally they realised that the litle guy had potential, and so they granted him his visa and let him cross the pond. Not suprisingly Sukh is on first name terms with most of the Immigration Services in the London Embassy but we all found it odd that they all seemed to be related to the fictious UK politician Alan B'stard.

We all wish you well in sunny, hurricane plagued Florida, but watch out Orange County, Hurricane Sukh is coming!

Sukh in motion!

We will all miss you Sukh!
